An Education, Health and Care Plan is a document that lists all of the things your child struggles with and how to make those things better! It says who is responsible, when they have to do it and how often. Everything in this document must be done by Law.

Every year your Local Authority must look at this document, talk to all of the professionals, and see how well your child is getting on. Making changes as things get better.. or worse!

The EHCP will usually last until the child is 25, is in full time work, or goes off to Uni.
